How do I stay awake without coffee, soda or energy drinks?

Is there a way to stay awake, alert & focused in the morning without coffee or soda? Coffee & soda dehydrates me & hurts my throat, that is why I do not like taking them unless I have no choice. Most energy drinks have soda in it, so that is out of the question too.

I share a small office space with several people, so stretching and exercising is also out of the question since that’d look weird if I suddenly begin doing yoga in the middle of the office :)

Any (healthy) ideas on how to stay awake?

Do ten push ups just as you get off bed ( even if your a girl ) , then stretch a bit
have an apple
maybe half a glass of room temp water

your good to go :)
